First Home Owner Grant in Victoria
The First Home Owner Grant provides eligible first home buyers in Victoria with a helpful $7,000 grant.
This federal government initiative is administered and funded by the Victorian State Government.

First Home Bonus in Victoria
On top of the First Home Owner Grant, if you’re a first home buyer in Victoria, you may also be eligible for the First Home Bonus.
The additional $13,000 First Home Bonus is paid on top of the First Home Owner Grant for new homes in Victoria only.

Regional new home bonus in Victoria
You may also be eligible for a regional new home bonus of $6,500 on top of first home buyer grants if you’re going to purchase or build a new home in a regional area of Victoria.
You don’t need to be a first home buyer to receive this grant.

Stamp duty reduction for first home buyers
Finally, along with the other first home buyer grants and bonuses, the Victoria government may also reduce the land transfer duty you pay.
If you’re buying your first home in Victoria to live in (not as an investment), you could be eligible for a percentage reduction on your Stamp Duty.
