Preserving the natural environment is important to Lend Lease. At Atherstone we have planned a number of environmental initiatives. Our construction processes are being reviewed to incorporate low embodied CO2 material where possible and to work with our builder partners to minimise our carbon foot print. In addition Atherstone’s masterplan incorporates linear parks, on road bike lanes and shared user trails so that all residents can make the most out of the outdoor life.
At Atherstone all homes will be supplied with recycled water and fibre optic connections. We also encourage the construction of 7 Star homes to assist residents in reducing the homes operating costs whilst being kind to the environment.
