Schools and Education
Atherstone is planning not one but two primary schools to meet the needs of the growing community. Both schools will be adjacent to open space areas and access will be easy through a network of well connected roads, shared footpaths and cycling tracks. A proposed childcare facility also forms part of the vision, so your family can grow with Atherstone.
The first school planned for delivery is approximately 3.5 hectares and will be located on Bridge Road with a dedicated service lane for pick up and drop off times. This school neighbours the Toolern Regional Park, where a traffic school will be located giving all kids the opportunity to learn from an early age about road safety. Seamlessly integrating with the school grounds a proposed community hub will also service the community needs.
